You starve yourself primarily is what takes place, you lose tens of pounds, look great for a few weeks, and then go back to normal food and whammo—-back comes all the lost weight and more with it, just for spite.

The fast weight loss diet works while you are on it, but most of them are not designed for long term use; they are what they say they are—-for fast weight loss, then you move on to something else to maintain your lost poundage. But—–and this is a big but——a lot of the weight lost on these diets is water weight and then you are in starvation conditions, so your body pulls its caloric needs from your stored fat, but also attacks the muscles for energy stores; and you are defeating the purpose of the diet in the first place.

So what actually happens when you start one of these fast weight loss diet plans is that your body goes into starvation mode and begins to shut down operations to conserve its energy supply. It is essentially designed to do that by Nature when its calorie source is cut down or severely restricted, and it begins to pull energy from the stored fat reserves and from muscles. Making Pasta in the Crock Pot

In some crock pot recipes, you will see them recommend preparing your pasta as directed on the package. Once it is done, you can add it to the crock pot or you can serve your meal on top of the noodles. This approach works best with meats and sauces, as well as recipes like stroganoff.

Some recipes may ask you to partially cook your pasta in boiling water until it is just barely tender. They then suggest adding the semi-cooked pasta to the crock pot for the last half hour or so of cooking. You may use this technique with dishes like chicken Alfredo, casseroles and other meals. Watch the clock when making this type of dish so your noodles do not get overdone. It will be mushy and shapeless if it cooks too long.
